As Actor Joel Kinnaman got Engaged to Victoria’s Secret Model Kelly Gale, the Duo have Some Lovely Plans for their Future

Joel’s ex Olivia Munn commented that she “100 percent” supports them

Robocop star Joel Kinnaman recently got engaged to his model girlfriend Kelly Gale. The couple has been together for over a year, after going public at Coachella in April 2019 and have been posting love-up photos on Instagram ever since.

The actor, 41, shared a few images on Instagram where he was seen proposing to Kelly, 25, during a romantic hilltop hike last week. He captioned the pic, “She said no. Jus kidding…”. Kelly also shared the same image on January 13, with the caption, “Most beautiful moment.” The Swedish-born model also showed off her engagement ring in a few selfies.

The couple’s history

Joel’s ex Olivia Munn was one of the first to congratulate the couple. The X-Men: Apocalypse star commented with a series of “100” emojis. Joel met Olivia in 2011 and dated from 2012 to 2014. Sources from the two actors said that they were “close friends” before getting together and have continued to stay as good friends even after breaking up. Olivia later dated Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers for three years before breaking up in 2017. Joel was previously married to Swedish tattoo artist Cleo Wattenström from 2015 to 2018.

Meanwhile, Kelly is already making plans on starting a family with Joel, as stated during an Instagram Q&A on Monday. She was asked about her plans on having kids and said, “Hopefully true”, and added that she’s “super in love with her fiancee.”

The Victoria’s Secret supermodel was also in the news for denying that she’s had breast augmentations in the past. She once again clarified on Tuesday that she’s had no surgeries done, after being asked by curious fans. It started in 2015, and was asked during a Q&A in October 2020 as well. She said that she chooses to respond every time as she doesn’t want young girls to feel the need to change their bodies.
