Lucci’s charges include felony murder and aggravated assault
Rapper YFN Lucci is currently on the Atlanta Police Department’s wanted list for his alleged involvement in a shooting that took place last month.
The department officially announced the news on Facebook that the rapper, whose real name is Rayshawn Bennet, “is wanted on multiple charges for his role in the shooting death of 28-year-old James Adams on December 10, 2020.” The charges include felony murder, aggravated assault, participation in criminal street gang activity and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.”

During the incident on December, the police saw Adams lying in the street with a gunshot wound in his head. Despite their lifesaving efforts, he died soon after.
After that, a second shooting victim, identified as 32-year-old Kevin Wright brought himself to a fire station after recieving a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Wright survived however. While investigating these two incidents, the investigators determined that the cases are likely related.
Aside from Bennet, two other suspects who had connections to the crime had been identified and apprehended by the police: Ra’von Boyd, 23, and Leroy Pitts, 17. They also face multiple charges. Credit for their arrest goes to the Miami-Dade Police Department, The US Attorney’s Office in Miami, and the FBI Field Office in Miami.
Bennet’s search is still ongoing and the investigators are asking around for information, and if so, to call Crime Stoppers, as per the Facebook post. Anyone who is giving information is not required to give their name or any other personal information and is eligible for a reward of up to $5000 if the suspect is arrested and indicted.
