Good Girls has officially been given the green light for a fourth season.
We got to see the third season in May on NBC and it’s currently streaming on Netflix as well. Since it finished, fans have been as curious as ever to find out what happens next in the heist-comedy-drama series.
When will season 4 release?
The show’s renewal was confirmed in May, shortly after the third season finished airing. It was announced through a video posted on the official Good Girls Twitter page. In the video, we see the show’s creators, cast and producers in a zoom call where the cast is informed about the renewal.

Now the wait begins for NBC to announce the release date. Seasons 1 to 3 premiered on NBC in February and March, so if the cast and crew were able to carry on with the production without being greatly impacted by the COVID-19 restrictions, we can expect the fourth season to arrive in the same time.
Season 4 plot
Good Girls is about three women, Beth (Christina Hendricks), Ruby (Retta) and Annie (May Whitman), three mothers who are caught up in financial situations.
Inorder to ease their problems, the three mothers decide to rob their local supermarket, which doesn’t go out as planned and leads them further down a path of crime.
In the third season we got to see Agent Phoebe Donnegan (Lauren Lapkus) closing in on Beth, Ruby, Annie and Rio (Manny Montana), who is a high ranking criminal and has a money laundering business. Season 3 was cut short unfortunately as the lockdown restrictions from the outbreak prevented the shooting to continue. Therefore, we are expected to see the ending of season 3 to be tied in with the fourth season.
A trailer for the fourth season hasn’t been released yet, but is expected to come out in early 2021.
