By order of the Peaky Blinders, brace yourself for the next season
Peaky Blinders is one show that just keeps getting better and better. Season 5 followed in the others’ footsteps and ended in yet another epic finale. The show is currently creating its VR game called Legitimate Peaky Blinders Festival, and there’s rumours going on about a film and spin-off shows.
But what about the sixth season?
Season 6 updates
Sadly, season six will be the final chapter in Tommy Shelby’s story. The production has started in January 2021 and creator Steven Knight said that it’s going to continue in another form.
Knight continued that the production was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but believes that this will be the best series of all and will impress the fans. Even though the TV series is ending, the story will continue in another form.
It was first hinted that the show will release “maybe early 2021,” but director Anthony Byrne, during an interview with Digital Spy said that it may release in late 2021 or early 2022. If the production began in January 2021, they wouldn’t wrap it up until May or June, and then it’s another six months with post-production.
The possible plot (mild spoilers)
Who can say at this point? By the way things ended, we can’t really tell if the story immediately picks up from the previous season or if some time has passed and a new fascist regime has established itself. Tommy’s plan to assassinate Mosley failed and now it’s up to him to think of other ways to stop his regime.
Who really foiled his plans? Was it Alfie Solomons who was supposed to be dead but showed up in the final episode of was it Michael who was bitter that Tommy rejected his proposal for a new Shelby business?

Knight has said that Tommy will remain as an MP but the political tension just got a whole lot more worse.
