Stranger Things season 4 is confirmed, it’s official, and the production is ongoing right now. But some bit of news that has made you all confused as heck is about Hopper. No, our man is not dead, he is very much alive and is the American prisoner that’s been mentioned a few times.

We got to see that for real 11 months ago in the small teaser called “From Russia with love.”

In this, you can see Hopper with a shaved head working on some railroads with other prisoners while guards keep watch over them. Fans have been speculating that he might be stick in the Upside Down.

The show has revealed 8 new characters, including Jonathan’s new buddy, a Russian guard, a new jock at Hawkins High School, and a mental hospital orderly, played by Jamie Campbell Bower.

Various images from the set in Atlanta have started circulating and from that, it looks like Dustin, Max, Steve and Robin have teamed up. Also, it seems that Maya Hawke’s real-life brother Levon Thurman-Hawke has joined as a punk-looking character.

Filming began in February 2020, but shut down in March due to the pandemic. Their Lithuania schedule has been wrapped up and the Atlanta schedule was about to begin. It resumed in October 2020. But due to the delays, writing was completed and they have been able to do a really good job at that as well, according to the Duffer Brothers.

The show is still a ways off, and the Duffer Brothers are really good at making sure no plot details leak out. During an interview with Collider, producer Shawn Levy said that aside from this season, there’s also possiblity of yet another season, but it’s currently undecided.

We are currently waiting for an official trailer to drop to know the release date.
