What is NCT member Mark Lee’s Instagram account? Fans have already started celebrating his social media debut

The account was created on January 26th and already has 1.4 million followers

For those who are not aware of Mark Lee, he’s the 13th member of a K-pop boy band called NCT, along with Jaehyun, Johnny, Ten, WinWin, YangYang, Hendery, XiaoJun, Lucas, Kun, Yuta, Harmon and Doyoung.

And Mark has now officially joined Instagram, even though he’s yet to receive the verified account tag.

@onyourm_ark, get set, go!

Mark’s username is a pun of his own name, and is a playful way of saying “On your marks, get set, go.” He made sure to continue with the punchline on his first post, which had the caption, “Get set. Go.” There were two pictures in the post and was of him posing in a black North Face sweatshirt and black-and-green trousers.

The follower list keeps on growing with the current number being 1.4 million in just one day. His fellow NCT member Doyoung is already a follower and commented: “My baby now has an Instagram account too aigoo.” The other NCT members are pretty active on social media, so Mark is expected to post constant updates as well. Fans are even expecting Instagram lives from the 21-year-old in the future.

Mark’s early life and career

Mark Lee has been in the K-pop scene since 2013, after he was introduced to the public as part of SM Entertainment’s pre-debut training team, SM Rookies. He was born and raised in Canada, and thanks to his english-speaking abilities, he has more appeal towards international audiences.

Mark was hand-picked by SM’s founder and CEO, Lee Soo-man, and had him join the iconic group SuperM in August 2019 and he was placed next to pros such as SHINee and EXO. His potential is enormous as he has already wrapped up a 13-leg American four with SuperM and a 45-leg World Tour with NCT 127. There’s no questioning that he can aim for the top.
