‘Dancing With the Stars’ alum Julianne Hough sparks dating rumours when she was spotted with ‘The Punisher’s actor Ben Barnes yet again

Former Dancing With the Stars dancer and actress Julianne Hough has been spotted with actor Ben Barnes yet again on Thursday in Los Angeles. Hough had been previously married to former hockey player Brooks Laich for three years before she filed for divorce in November. Barnes is an English actor who was first noted for playing Prince Caspian in the Narnia movies and has been recently in TV series like Westworld and The Punisher. He will be starring next on Netflix’s Shadow and Bone, which will release in April.

Old friends

Hough, 32, and Barnes, 39, were spotted outside Salt & Straw in Los Angeles, and were seen eating ice cream. The witness who saw them said they were debating about who will pay until Barnes picked up the tab, before they laughed and walked back to their car.

Another source told E! News that Barnes and Hough “have been friends for eight years” and there is “nothing more to it.” But Barnes was seen carrying a brown bag with a personalised message that read, “You’ve made my day. Proud of you,” according to the witness. But we can never know if it was given by Hough.

Hough’s divorce

Back in May 2020, Hough and Laich announced their separation. There had been rumours that the couple had reconciled afterwards, but Hough put an end to that by filing for divorce in November. Both parties shared a statement saying that they still share an abundance of love and respect for one another and will continue to lead with their hearts from that place.

Hough had since not spoken about her romantic life, but a source told Entertainment Weekly that she has taken a break from dating and is not interested in anyone.
