After Huge Acclaim, HBO’s ‘Euphoria’ is Gearing up for Second Season with much Delight & Surprise

The Season that fans want and deserve

Euphoria is an American teen drama which was created by Sam Levinson for HBO. The first season of the series was released on 16th of June, 2019. After a month of the release, the show was renewed for its second season. Initially, HBO was very confused that whether audience will be able to accept a show with so many trigger warning? But, the show was a great hit and is among the best HBO’s originals.

The show won many awards and Zendaya managed to grab the Lead Actress in a Drama series at the 72nd Annual trophy. Somewhere or the other, the cast of the show did a great job.

It is already official that HBO will roll out season 2 of Euphoria

The show was always promoted as a dual season show. It was renewed after one month of its release. The makers was supposed to start filming season 2 in 2020. But the world was under global quarantine that year so the shooting was delayed. Therefore, the filming will began in initial months of 2021. HBO president Casey Bloys also confirmed that production of “Euphoria” season 2 will start in 2021 beginning.

However, due to COVID-19 there is a huge gap between both the seasons so HBO planned to release a “Special COVID-19 episode”

Originally, HBO planned to release a single special episode. But Zendaya [Rue Bennett] confirmed that there will be two special episodes. One of which was released on December 6, 2020. The second episode was planned to release on 24th of January, 2021 but was released earlier on HBO Max on 22nd of January at 9 PM ET/6 PM PT. The first episode was named as “Trouble Don’t Last Always,” and the second episode was named as “F*ck Anyone Who’s Not A Sea Blob,”.
