The fact that Ben Lawson’s character was spotted wearing the Queensland State jersey was a deliberate move as the actor wanted to give his character of an Aussie journalist more authenticity in the Katherine Heigl- Sarah Chalke starrer series! The series made its way into the streaming service just a few days ago and is already garnering attention from fans! The show has not yet been renewed for season 2 but the possibilities are quite strong given how the first season ended!
The Origin Jersey Has Some Special Importance For The Actor!
The actor has further revealed that he had to go to great extent to gel hold of the jersey as he scrolled through eBay and finally found what he was looking for! The 13 Reasons Why had to incorporate the jersey and the network soon approved this and we are glad they did!
According to the actor, he knew that it is going to come in handy sometimes as the network had no idea what this whole jersey thing meant in the first place. Lawson further said that it is special for him that it is in there! The actor has uploaded a picture of himself wearing the jersey on her Instagram account!
