The surprising reunion brought out a lot of excitement among their fans and co-stars
Rebel Wilson and Adam Devine, Pitch Perfect’s very own Fat Amy and Bumper had a happy reunion on Sunday in Tampa, Florida as they went to watch the Tampa Bay Buccaneers face off against the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LV. The Bucs, with Tom Brady in the lead won in their home turf by beating Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs, earning the Lombardi Trophy in a 31-9 victory.
Devine and Wilson
Wilson posted two images of the pair on her official Instagram @rebelwilson and captioned it, “My favourite work husband.” Wilson, 40, and Devine, 37, beamed for the camera as the field was visible in the background. The stars had last worked together in 2019’s Isn’t It Romantic.
Their Pitch Perfect co-stars jumped into the comment section to express their surprise, with Skylar Astin dropping a “🛳️” emoji and Alexis Knapp writing, “Ayyyy!!!🔥🔥🔥💪🏼💪🏼.”
Following the NFL Honours awards before the Super Bowl, Wilson, who had been losing weight like crazy over the last year, stunned everyone with a red gown, that was previously worn by Meghan Markle at the set of her upcoming dog reality show Pooch Perfect.
The last reunion
The Aussie actress had previously reunited with her Pitch Perfect co-stars Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow, Elizabeth Banks, Alexis Knapp, John Michael Higgins, Hailee Steinfeld and several others for a virtual sing-along in August.
The group sang Beyoncé’s “Love On Top” to raise donations for UNICEF’s COVID-19 relief, mainly in Lebanon where the factory incident had taken place. The group sang in perfect harmony just like the Barden Bellas, after everyone recorded themselves separately from their homes. The video was shared by Banks on her official Instagram page.
At the end of the video, Kendrick held up a sign saying she misses everyone so much. We hope they team up for another movie.
