Season 6 is said to solve many unanswered questions
As many of us already know, season 5 of The CW’s Supergirl was more or less forced to wrap up and left many questions to the imagination as the pandemic went into overload. But here are some good news – season 6 is currently under production and it’s going to answer a lot of questions that we have remaining.
We don’t have confirmation on the release date as of yet, but filming is underway and one actress from the series has just made history.
Azie Tesfai’s role in the story
As per recent reports from Deadline, actress Azie Tesfai, who plays Kelly Olsen in the series, had a big role in the writing of one episode in the final season. There are numerous series where the showrunners or directors ask the cast members to pitch in for the stories, but this is the first time such a thing happened in a show by Greg Berlanti, the main brain behind DC’s Arrowverse.
Tesfai has joined the series in the latter part of season 4 and had since become a regular. The producers had already spoken highly of not just her acting, bit her writing skills as well. Tesfai is already a TV veteran, and had played roles in shows like Jane The Virgin, Wicked Wicked Games and many others.
Even though she’s making her debut in the final season, if viewers get to admire the 28-year-old’s narrative, then she will be benefitting greatly from it.
The release date
The makers haven’t given us a date, but speculations indicate that it’s set to arrive in April. When it arrives, make sure to look out for Azie’s co-written 12th episode. As for this month, we will be getting other Arrowverse series like The Flash and Black Lightning.
