What’s the reason for “DaBeef” between DaBaby and JoJo Siwa? It’s Disturbing

The two started trending after the rapper dissed Siwa in his new song

The internet is buzzing about the crossover no one expected – between DaBaby and JoJo Siwa, and many are still trying to figure out what happened.

So the news came about after the rapper dissed the 17-year-old dancer and social media star in his new song “Beatbox Freestyle” which came out this Friday. DaBaby, aside from naming figures like Stevie Wonder and T.I., also mentioned Siwa, saying, “Turn me up, n****s gon’ see why/N***a, you a b***h, JoJo Siwa (B***h).”

Of course, people were right to feel confused because the two stars are in entirely different circles (with one running a hairbow empire) and have never interacted with each other.

Most of them were laughing as to why DaBaby would pick a fight with Siwa of all people. As one user said, “Why is DaBaby beefing with a 17-year-old girl like bruh you could’ve name dropped anyone else why JoJo Siwa.”

Another running joke in this whole situation was that Siwa, who is reportedly 5’9″ could just stomp or pick DaBaby (who is around an inch or two shorter) and just fling him away if he really did have beef.

Clearing up the mess

The rapper clarified the Siwa reference in a series of tweets on Sunday, saying that his 3 year old is her number 1 fans and that he bought her every product that Siwa has made. He also added that she shouldn’t believe that he has a problem with her and that his word play just went over their heads.

Siwa, who recently came out as part of the LGBTQ+ community seems aware, even though she hasn’t officially commented on anything.

So there you have it. Looks like there’s no beef and that all is well.
