But sadly, the series was abruptly ended after the third season and the cast was as surprised as it’s fans. But since the announcement of Spider-Man 3, now titled Spider-Man: No Way Home, various rumours suggested that Murdock will be returning to the MCU as Peter’s lawyer.
Cox’s online reunion

On Sunday afternoon, Cox joined a reunion stream on Instagram for the cast members of the Broadway production Betrayal – where he starred alongside the MCU’s Loki Tom Huddleston and Zawe Ashton, who has now been roped in as the villain in Captain Marvel 2. From what fans observed, Cox’s beard was trimmed a significant amount from how he was last spotted for his role in Kin, a period drama for Irish network RTE.
Earlier this month, casting agencies in Atlanta distributed casting calls for actors for the roles of stenographer and attorneys in Spider-Man: No Way Home, which teased that the court of law will be involved. We were aware that the law would be involved especially after Peter’s identity as Spider-Man has been publicly announced and that he was responsible for the murder of Quentin Beck/ Mysterio.
Spidey’s lawyer maybe?

The movie is nine months away from releasing, and we are yet to receive any official word on whether Cox will be involved with the project. As a fan, now is the best time to introduce Matt to the other MCU heroes since Daredevil had represented numerous superheroes in court, while keeping his identity a secret. Only time will tell.
