Fortnite Season 6: New gameplay features has reportedly been leaked

A possible new gameplay feature has been leaked for Fortnite season 6. The game is currently available for free on the Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, as well as mobile platforms. Players can currently buy weapons and other stuffs from non playable characters. NPCs had different functions, but the new leak teases that they are being expanded upon with new options.

New leaks

There had been leaks and rumours coming in for about two months saying that you now have an option to sell your loot to NPCs. It hasn’t been added, but a new leak suggests that it is coming, probably sometime during season 6.

The news was shared by popular Fortnite leaker HypeX, who also revealed s new icon that was added to the game’s files by Epic Games and said that it was related to this upcoming feature. Also, they gave word that when you sell an expensive item to an NPC, they will use the “Make it Rain” emote. HypeX also noted that the prices for selling loot to NPCs will be the same as upgrading weapons.

Not fully reliable

HypeX also added that they he/she has no idea if Epic Games will be going ahead with this or if they had scrapped the idea, or if it comes with limits. Therefore, the best thing to do is to take everything with a grain of salt and see if any official announcements are made or if gameplay leaks come to YouTube.

There is quite a big possibility that Epic Games will be adding the option of NPC interactions, but it can come anytime, and not necessarily during season 6.
