Claro's response to Procon-SP is considered unsatisfactory and operator may be fined
Update (07/01/2022) by LL
Claro can be fined up to R$ 11 million by Procon-SP after a service failure that left hundreds of users without access to the Internet, TV and operator support for three days. The consumer protection agency requested clarification from the company, but the responses were not satisfactory and the case will be forwarded to the inspection team.
Procon-SP claimed to have sought to understand the reasons why the failure occurred, which channels were affected, how long the problem persisted and what measures were taken to resolve the failure. In addition, the institution asked Claro to provide an action plan to compensate customers who were harmed by the instability.
