Red: Growing Up is a Beast, the new Pixar movie, will also be released directly on Disney Plus

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, we saw the entertainment industry as one of the main affected, as events with a high concentration of audiences were restricted for a long time, causing the movie industry to have to find new ways to launch their productions.

With the arrival of the Ômicron variant, moviegoing could be at risk again and Disney seems to be aware of this and has decided to remove the premiere of yet another Pixar movie from the big screen to take it directly to Disney Plus.

While streaming has been used for a while to show movies that would hit the theater , films like Spider-Man: No Back Home have shown that big-screen debuts are still much more profitable , especially in big-budget movies. Furthermore, many actors and executives receive profit shares from the films and streaming them is not an attractive enough option for them .
