High quality! Netflix adds support for HDR streaming on Pixel 5a, Pixel 6 and 6 Pro
Netflix recently updated its support page and included in the list of mobile phones compatible with playing movies and series in HDR mode three new Google devices, the Pixel 5a and the new Pixel 6 and 6 Pro, versions that, unlike their predecessors, bring as a differential the Tensor processor developed by the search giant.
Apparently, these devices had the possibility of using HDR in the application, but complaints from users may have been the starting point for the streaming platform to make improvements in this form of reproduction and make it official compatibility with the resource. .
As explained on the Netflix support page, in order for HDR10 mode to be used without problems, both the smartphone and the app must be updated to the latest version, otherwise streaming with enhanced video quality will not be available.
