iCloud servers experience instabilities and cause app sync issues
Several developers of apps for the iPhone and iPad have been reporting problems caused by the servers of iCloud, Apple's cloud storage service, over the past few months. According to users in the official community, when an application tries to connect to the servers, an error message is returned.
The error in question has an HTTP 503 code. As explained by the developer of GoodNotes for iOS — an application that uses iCloud to back up data — the error indicates that the servers are not responding correctly to user requests. The Apple Developer forum shows that instabilities have been occurring since November 2021.
