Apple has released an update that brings iOS 15.3 and iPadOS 15.3 to Apple's iPhone and tablet. With more than 1 GB for download, the file promises to solve several bugs reported by users, including a gift in the privacy of the Safari browser.
From time to time Apple releases some firmware update for its devices, bringing new features to features already present and others completely unpublished, even before a major update. This Wednesday (26) iOS 15.3, along with iPadOS 15.3, macOS 12.2, watchOS 8.4 and tvOS 15.2 were released for download, precisely with the aim of small corrections.

Apple company describes the update, heavy as it is, as a refinement for bugs and glitches encountered while using iOS 15. On the other hand, an important fix appears in the list of software modifications and it involves Safari.
iOS 15.3 fixes privacy bug in Safari
The flaw was disclosed in the beginning of the second half of January and involves an error in the implementation of IndexedDB, which is an API used by Safari and other browsers installed on iPhone or iPad, with the function of storing identifiers of visited websites. The bug allowed one website to access data about another website, breaking user privacy.
A well-known site that uses IndexedDB is Google, so that information about the user's account is available in other apps of the company itself, such as YouTube, Google Drive and Maps. With the data there, the video service does not need to ask for the login again, when it has already been confirmed in Chrome, for example.
iOS 15.3 can be installed on:

- iPhone 8 and 8 Plus
- iPhone X
- iPhone XS and XR
- iPhone 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max

- iPhone 13, 13 Mini, 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max
iPadOS 15.3 is now available for:
- iPad Pro (all models)
- iPad Mini (fourth, fifth, and sixth generations)
- iPad Air (second, third and fourth generations)
- iPad (from the fifth generation)
