Philips announced its latest monitor in October with a focus on gamers and now it is updating the portfolio with a new monitor aimed at the professional market with a number of built-in connections like USB-C and even a Gigabit Ethernet port.
The new Philips 243S1 monitor arrives at 23.8 inches in IPS W-LED with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 1000:1 contrast and 4 ms response time (GtG) and maximum brightness of 250 cd/m² covering 107% of the sRGB range and 91% of the NTSC.
However, the highlight of this model is the variety of integrated connections starting with a hub with charging up to 65W with a USB 3.2 Gen2 port and two USB 3.2 Type A ports, in addition to an RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet port with Wake on LAN. There is also a DisplayPort 1.2 connection, an HDMI 1.4 and a 3.5mm audio output for headphones or external speakers.
