Obi-Wan Kenobi Has Supposed Release Date On Disney Plus Revealed By Executive

Ewan McGregor, the actor who gave life to the character Obi-Wan Kenobi from Star Wars, had already commented on the possibility of reviving the Jedi hero. It seems that the idea of seeing Kenobi in a new storyline could soon become a reality. A Disney Plus executive has reportedly revealed that this new series from the Star Wars universe is going to be released.

Brandon SanGiovanni is Disney Plus' director of programming and let slip on his Twitter profile that the focused series Obi-Wan Kenobi will be available in May on the platform. The post has since been deleted, but a Reddit user was quicker and recorded the information. The tweet reads "Our own Obi-Wan will say 'hello' on Disney+…May 2022."
