Gerald Earl Gillum (born May 24, 1989), better known by his stage name G-Eazy, is a rapper and record producer from the United States of America. These Things Happen, his debut major-label album, was released on June 23, 2014, and reached number three on the US Billboard 200.

Gillum’s mother left his father, an associate professor of art at CSU Fresno when he was in the first grade. Gillum relocated to Berkeley, California, to live with his grandparents. They then relocated to North Oakland, while Gillum remained enrolled in Berkeley schools.

Gillum earned a bachelor’s degree in 2011 from Loyola University New Orleans.
Gillum was detained in Stockholm, Sweden, on May 2, 2018, on suspicion of assault, possession of narcotics, and usage of narcotics after allegedly punching a security guard and being found with cocaine in his pocket.

Gillum pleaded guilty in court on May 4 to violent resistance, drug possession, and assault on an official. He received probation and was ordered to pay a $10,000 fine and a $900 restitution fee to the security guard he assaulted.

Gillum was arrested and charged with assault in New York City on September 13, 2021. He was said to have assaulted two males at the Standard’s Boom Boom Room. G-Eazy is back on the market. The Bay Area rapper recently broke up with his nine-month girlfriend, Pretty Little Liars actress Ashley Benson, and is now single again.

Ashley Benson

In April 2020, G-Eazy was linked to actress Ashley Benson when she appeared on his cover of Radiohead’s ‘Creep.’ A month later, it was revealed that Benson had split up with her two-year partner, model Cara Delevingne.

Benson and G-Eazy were seen running errands together in Los Angeles the same month, before video of the two allegedly kissing in a car leaked online. G-Eazy joined Ashley as her date to her sister Shaylene’s wedding in June 2020, ratcheting up their romance.

However, the couple’s relationship apparently soured, and they divorced in February 2021, allegedly after a lot of arguing. “Ashley wasn’t fond of the way he acted around her. It’s just that the vibe hasn’t been right. At the time, a source informed E! News, “She told him it’s over.”

Halsey

From August 2017 to October 2018, G-Eazy dated singer Halsey for nearly a year, arguably his most high-profile romance. The former couple originally became romantically associated around the time they released their collaboration ‘Him & I’ in August of that year, with the duo posting amorous social media conversations after a performance together in New Orleans.

A month later, they made Instagram official, and they were frequently spotted wearing their PDAs and uploading cuddling images together on the platform. Following G-arrest Eazy’s in Sweden for drug possession and allegedly assaulting security guards in May 2018, Halsey stood by his side. To escape jail time, the rapper paid a $9,000 fine.

In a series of personal recordings, the rapper could be seen embracing the ‘Hot Girl Summer’ starlet and putting kisses on her cheek, which he later deleted.

Online footage of the two partying together in a bar has also surfaced, fueling the romance rumours. Megan, on the other hand, cleared the air after considerable speculation. She tweeted at the time, “Lol alright now y’all got all y’all jokes out, but I am not f*cking G Eazy.”

A video from that night, apparently showing Megan swerving G-Eazy as he lunges in for a kiss, surfaced online a few months later. Neither party has responded to the video.

Yasmin Wijnaldum

G-Eazy reportedly began dating Victoria’s Secret model Yasmin Wijnaldum in February 2019, shortly after his separation from Halsey. In April of that year, the rapper and the Dutch beauty made their romance public, and in September of that year, they walked the red carpet together at Rihanna’s Diamond Ball. They are said to have broken up towards the end of 2019.

Lana Del Rey

After being sighted together at Coachella in April, G-Eazy and singer Lana Del Rey are thought to have started dating in early 2017. However, they broke up later that summer, and it doesn’t appear as things went well.

Lana del Rey poured shade at G-Eazy while playing her song ‘White Mustang,’ which is allegedly about the rapper, saying, “Couldn’t stop the way I was feeling the day his record dropped and it wasn’t even that good!”

G-Eazy was linked to Hungarian model Livia Pillmann in February 2020, just after his surprise appearance with Megan Thee Stallion over Super Bowl weekend. The duo was caught kissing in early February at an Oscars celebration, though it’s unknown how long they dated, given G-Eazy began dating Ashley Benson in the spring of 2020. Pillman dated actor Jesse Metcalfe earlier.
