Christopher Lee Kattan was born(on October 19, 1970) in Sherman Oaks, California, to actress Kip King and model Hajni Joslyn. Chris came to Mt. Baldy when he was five years old, and stayed there until he was fifteen years old when he went to high school on Bainbridge Island, Washington.

Chris traveled to Los Angeles after graduating from high school to join the improv/sketch comedy troupe “The Groundlings.” In March of 1996, he was cast as a featured player on Saturday Night Live (1975), and in September of the same year, he became a cast member.
