Chris Kattan’s Net Worth
Kattan’s net worth is $6 million as of February 2022, according to Celebrity Net Worth. However, having to pay for many operations as well as being arrested for DUI and then posting bond may have hampered his earnings slightly.
Chris had to put in a lot of time and effort before he was able to break into the film industry. He got his start in the entertainment industry as a member of the Groundlings, a Los Angeles-based comedy ensemble that his father helped form. As a member of SNL, Chris later migrated to New York.
As one of the show’s most versatile actors, Chris played a variety of roles in front of the cameras with his equally versatile co-stars. Al Pacino, Kid Rock, Clay Aiken, and Ben Affleck were just a few of the celebs he managed to pull off an amazing impersonation of. This is not an easy task, but Chris has become known for his realistic portrayals of other famous people.
SNL sketch actors must have patience, devotion, attention, and expertise in order to play a variety of characters. That Chris was able to pull this off while on the show is a testament to his abilities.
What was Chris Kattan’s life like before he amassed a net worth of $6 million?
Chris was born in Culver City, California, in 1970. His mother and father both worked in the entertainment industry, and his father was a voice actor as well as a normal actor. His mother even worked as a model in London and posed for Playboy magazine at one point. Chris’ parents split when he was still a child, and his mother remarried.
Chris was reared on Mount Baldy at a Zen retreat outside Los Angeles by her new husband, who was a monk and Buddhist therapist. Chris moved to Bainbridge Island, Washington, when he was a youngster, and graduated from high school there in 1989.
It was in Oakhurst, California, in June 2008 that he married model Sunshine Deia Tutt. On the eve of Christmas 2006, he’d proposed to her. After just eight weeks of marriage, the couple broke up in August 2008, and the divorce was finalized in February 2009.
His rigid upper body movement while dancing on “Dancing With the Stars” drew criticism from both the show’s judges and the public. The injury and subsequent surgeries were the reason for his lack of mobility, he revealed later when he revealed that he had broken his neck doing a stunt nearly two decades earlier. During an “SNL” routine in May 2001, he fell backward while executing a spoof of the Golden Girls and suffered injuries as a result.
In 2014, after his fourth neck surgery, Kattan began taking pain medication and was arrested for a DUI. He blamed the arrest on the pain medication.
