In 2006, she gained notoriety after being cast in the reality television series The Hills, which followed Patridge and her friends Lauren Conrad, Heidi Montag, and Whitney Port’s personal and business life.

She was cast in roles with Quixote Studios and Epic Records during the film’s production. Patridge had been seeing Corey Bohan, a motorcycle racer and professional BMX dirt bike rider, since 2008, and Bohan proposed to her on November 20, 2015, after obtaining her parents’ consent.
