Morgan Wallen was born in Sneedville, Tennessee, on May 13, 1993, to Tommy and Lesli Wallen. Wallen attended piano and violin lessons as a child. He aspired to play baseball in college but changed his mind after hurting his elbow.
Wallen was a contestant on ‘The Voice’ season six. In 2015, he signed with Panacea Records and released his debut EP, “Stand Alone,” after being eliminated from the playoffs.
He released his debut album, ‘If I Know Me,’ on Big Loud the following year. Up Down, Whiskey Glasses, and Chasin’ You are some of the songs featured on the CD.

Wallen’s high school basketball performances were so remarkable that he was offered a scholarship to play college basketball. After suffering a career-ending injury, he decided to focus on music instead.

When he was a child, his mother encouraged him to try out for “The Voice.” As a first-time viewer, Wallen had no notion what to expect. It started with Usher and ended with Adam Levine.
On the sixth season of “The Voice” in 2014, Wallen took the stage. He was knocked out of the tournament in the first round. He began working with Atom Smash’s Sergio Sanchez. Sanchez introduced Wallen to Panacea Records founders Bill Ray and Paul Trust.

‘More Than My Hometown’ was released by Wallen in 2020. First-day streaming records were broken on August 14th when Wallen released the song “7 Summers.”
