Bowen also revealed that she bought Gertrude Stein, her favourite dog, as a retirement gift from dating. When DeVine hinted at the actress having a thing on Harry Styles, the 51-year-old claimed she is willing to come out of her “dating retirement” for him:

“You want to know if I’d come out of [dating] hibernation for Harry Styles? Yes, absolutely. Him? Take a look at him!”

The Happy Gilmore star even admits to being distracted by his butterfly tattoos while photos of him were presented on the screen. She even complimented the musician on his enthusiasm and hard work:

Who Julie Bowen is Dating!

Julie Bowen is apparently single, while Harry Styles is dating Olivia Wilde. Scott Phillips, a real estate entrepreneur, was her first husband. Oliver and twins John and Gustav are the couple’s three sons.

Why did Julie Bowen divorce Scott Phillips?

Julie Bowen and Scott Phillips split up in 2018. Julie Bowen married Scott Phillips, a real estate investor and software developer, in 2004. Oliver, the couple’s first child, was born in 2007, followed by twin sons John and Gustav in 2009.

After nearly 13 years of marriage, the couple decided to call it quits in 2018. Bowen’s absence from the Emmys with her spouse for the first time since her appearance fuelled split rumours in 2016. Unfortunately, it was also their wedding anniversary on that day.

Phillips had to cancel the event due to a tennis competition, according to the actress, who told People at the time:

“He’s come every year and has been so supportive… and since I wasn’t recognised as an individual, I asked, ‘What do you want to do on our anniversary?'”

“To be honest, I don’t recall anything before we had children. After that, you’re like, ‘Wait, what?’ It’s been twelve years. We’ve had kids for nine years. So I remember the first three years, but everything else is a blur.”

The duo attended the Los Angeles LGBT Center’s 47th Anniversary Gala Vanguard Awards together about a week after the 2016 Emmys.

Bowen told US Weekly at the time that the couple was “too exhausted” to consider splitting up: “‘Wait, did they get married after us or before us?’ we wonder as we see all these people get married and split up. All of these people are outlasted by us.”

The Boston Legal alum said to US Weekly in November 2017 that she and her husband aren’t “ideal people,” and that they even let their children witness their “tensions and conflicts.”

But, according to a source close to the couple, Julie Bowen and Scott Phillips have decided to live “different lives” in the same year. The couple apparently tried to repair their marriage for the sake of their children, but their relationship was allegedly “hanging by a thread.”

People reported on February 1, 2018, that the couple had decided to end their relationship. Julie Bowen filed for divorce from Scott Phillips a few days later, and the processes were concluded on September 13, 2018, according to TMZ.

The two agreed to split their $25 million wealth, which included both properties and cash, according to The Daily Mail. According to court filings, Bowen received a little more than $13 million from their joint fortune, while Phillips received roughly $12.3 million.

Scott Phillips also requested spousal support and joint physical and legal custody of their three children from Julie Bowen.
