Mateo was born to an Indian American father and a Filipina mother, who eventually divorced. Mateo claims that she grew up in poverty.

Rabiya Mateo Confirms Relation with Jeric Gonzales!

Rabiya Mateo revealed her romance with Kapuso artist Jeric Gonzales in an Instagram post on March 16.

Miss Universe Philippines 2020 tweeted photos and videos from their trip to Bohol, including selfies and a video of Jeric piggybacking Rabiya. In the comments, the couple also exchanged love notes.

“Let’s be happy together,” Jeric, 29, replied. “I’m in love with you.” “To more moments with you,” the actor captioned a photo on his Instagram account shortly after. @rabiyamateo “I’m in love with you.”

“Through good times and terrible times, I’m going to be there by your side,” Rabiya wrote in the comments area. Babe, I adore you.”

According to a report by PEP.ph, romantic speculations about the two have been spreading since they were first seen together in December in the Enchanted Kingdom and on a beach in an unknown place.

Rabiya hinted at someone with the initials “J” being the first person she contacted that day during a PEP Live in February, prompting netizens to speculate whether it was Jeric Gonzales.

Rabiya joined with GMA Network that same month, and the two collaborated on an episode of Wish Ko Lang in November.

Rabiya’s relationship with ex-boyfriend Neil Salvacion ended in June 2021. They were together for seven years before deciding to separate because they had “lost their connection,” however the latter claimed Rabiya had left him for the throne at one point. They are now on friendly terms.

During the 69th Miss Universe pageant in Florida, USA, the Ilongga beauty queen represented the country and placed in the Top 21.

Rabiya is now starring alongside Senator Bong Revilla Jr. and Sanya Lopez in the second season of Agimat ng Agila.
