Moses J. Moseley was an American actor, writer, and model who lived from December 23, 1990, to January 26, 2022. Moseley was born in Aiken, South Carolina.

He was well-known for his work on AMC’s The Walking Dead series. He appeared in the films Volumes of Blood: Horror Stories and as a guest star on the TV programmes Queen of the South and Watchmen.

Moseley was discovered while attending Georgia State University and was cast in the film Joyful Noise alongside Queen Latifah and Dolly Parton.

On AMC’s horror drama television series The Walking Dead, Moseley made his breakthrough as one of Michonne’s jaw-less pet walkers.

Moseley’s body was discovered near the Hudson bridge in Stockbridge, Georgia, on January 26, 2022, with indications of a gunshot wound. He died when he was 31 years old.

According to a death certificate acquired by TMZ on Monday, “The Walking Dead” actor Moses Moseley died of a gunshot wound to the head.

While the official cause of death has been identified, the question of whether the wound was self-inflicted or accidental is still being investigated.

Moseley, 31, was discovered dead near the Hudson Bridge area of Stockbridge, Georgia after his family filed a missing person’s report and OnStar traced his car.

He played one of Michonne’s (Danai Gurira) pet zombies on AMC’s “The Walking Dead” from 2012 to 2015.

The actor’s representative, Tabatha Minchew, confirmed that authorities were investigating Moseley’s death at the time, but she couldn’t confirm whether the actor had been absent for a week as his family claimed.

“For me, he wasn’t just a client. For the past ten years, we’ve been best friends,” Minchew told TheWrap. “He attended my wedding.” Everyone who met him adored him, and no one has ever spoken anything bad about him.

Everyone seemed to be in a good mood when he was around. Everyone was overjoyed because of him. We’re all trying to figure out what’s going on.”

“Our thoughts and prayers are with our #TWDFamily member Moses J. Moseley,” AMC said on Twitter in response to the news.
