Trevor Noah is a South African comedian, television host, actor, and political commentator who was born on February 20, 1984. He is the host of Comedy Central’s The Daily Show, a satirical news programme in the United States.
Noah began his career in South Africa in 2002, where he was born. He has worked as a host for the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) and was the runner-up in the fourth season of Strictly Come Dancing in South Africa in 2008.
He presented the late-night discussion show Tonight with Trevor Noah, which he produced and which ran on M-Net and DStv from 2010 to 2011.
Noah was named Senior International Correspondent for The Daily Show in 2014, and he took over as host in 2015. Born a Crime, his autobiographical comic book was published in 2016.
