Tony Hawk, 53, has become a global hero as a result of his tremendous skateboarding career. Since retiring in 2003, he has continued to conduct humanitarian initiatives relating to the action sport and is regarded as a pioneer of modern vertical skateboarding.
Tony has been married four times in his personal life. Tony has blamed his busy career for the failure of his first three marriages.
“Each marriage was unique in its own way. There were a variety of other factors, such as behaviours I was able to control, but travel and budgeting my time remained the most difficult component in my relationships,” he told the Sydney Morning Herald in April 2020.

Who Is Catherine Goodman?
Tony Hawk is currently blissfully married to Catherine Goodman after three divorces. On June 27, 2015, Catherine, a British artist who grew up in London, married Tony. Limerick, Ireland, hosted their wedding ceremony.
Tony is the delighted father of four children, while Catherine has two kids from a previous marriage. Tony and Catherine, according to the Sydney Morning Herald, “connect on a profound level in terms of our approach to life.”
“I despise the term ‘alternative,’ yet we have a distinct parenting style. We love the difficulties of raising children and providing them with the tools they need to make good decisions.”
Catherine has been by Tony’s side for a number of public events, most notably at the 2022 Academy Awards when he was a presenter.

Cindy Dunbar
Cindy Dunbar was Tony’s first wife. They started dating in high school and married when Tony was 21 years old in April 1990. Tony and Cindy divorced one year after the birth of their son Riley in December 1992.
“Neither of us was ready for adult life, which includes having Riley; I was travelling a lot and she was working nonstop,” Tony told the Sydney Morning Herald.
“We noticed the effects later on,” he said in the interview, “but we were thrilled initially.”
Riley, aged 29, is a professional skateboarder, following in his father’s footsteps. He’s also the frontman for the Warish punk band. Riley is dating Kurt Cobain’s daughter, Frances Bean Cobain, who is the daughter of Courtney Love and Kurt Cobain.
Erin Lee
In September 1996, Tony married Erin Lee, his second wife. Spencer was born in 1999, and Keegan was born in 2001, and they have two sons together.
Spencer’s stage name is Gupi, and he performs as an electric musician. After eight years of marriage, Tony and Erin divorced in 2004.
His “travel schedule and duties clearly harmed” his marriage to Erin, he told the Sydney Morning Herald.
Lhotse Merriam
Tony married Lhotse Merriam, 49, for the third time. On January 12, 2006, the couple married in Fiji.
Lhotse met Tony while working as a crew member on Peak Experience, ESPN X-Games, and ESPN International Winter Sports 2002.
They have a daughter named Kadence Clover Hawk, who was born in 2008. In an interview with the Sydney Morning Herald, Tony raved about his daughter.
“Kadence is a hard worker. She’s witty, snarky, and generous, and she treats everyone the same. He told the outlet, “I’d like to think I conferred that on her.”
After he allegedly had an affair with Catherine, who was married to Tony’s BFF and business associate Matt Goodman, Tony and Lhotse’s marriage dissolved in February 2011.
When Lhotse discovered an airline ticket to San Francisco that Tony had booked for Catherine, she apparently found out about the romance.
“We have made the tough choice to file for divorce,” Tony and Lhotse stated in a joint statement.
We remain extremely committed and loving parents to our daughter, and we respectfully request that others respect our family’s privacy during this critical time of transition.”
