Romain Zago is a wealthy French-American businessman and nightclub owner with a net worth of $12 million.
Zago was born in France on November 8, 1972, and reared in Italy and Brazil. He is the ex-husband of Polish actress Joanna Krupa and owns the Mynt Lounge in Miami, Florida.
From 2012 to 2013, Joanna starred in the Bravo reality series “The Real Housewives of Miami,” and Romain appeared in 12 episodes.
Romain Zago’s Career!
Zago began his career as a bartender at Mynt Lounge, then rose through the ranks to the manager, then VIP director, before purchasing the venue fully in 2006 and cementing its position as one of Miami’s premier nightlife destinations.
When his model girlfriend Joanna began frequent club appearances in the VIP section, it didn’t hurt! Mynt Lounge, which is located on Miami’s prestigious 2100 block of Collins Avenue, has hosted a long list of A-list celebrities, including Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, Jennifer Lopez, and Giselle Bundchen, as well as an equally long list of up-and-coming designers, models, DJs, and all-around extremely wealthy individuals.
Romain demands that the club be entirely redesigned every summer in order to keep new. He spent almost $1 million on the most recent round of renovations to bring the club back to life.
Zago’s new venture, Myn-Tu, is characterised as a “culinary concept that lays behind an elegant blend of Japanese and Vietnamese culture infused by a French flair,” and it opened next door to Mynt in 2019.
Prior to joining Mynt Lounge, Romain worked as a fashion model and travelled all over the world.
Romain Zago’s Personal Life!
Romain married Joanna Krupa on June 13, 2013, in Carlsbad, California, after a five-year engagement.
Krupa told “In Touch Weekly” in November 2012 that she had broken up with Zago after a large dispute over Romain’s lack of commitment to her; Zago informed the magazine that Joanna’s continual travelling and lifestyle made her committing exceedingly tough.
In December 2016, Romain requested a divorce from Joanna, and the two filed for divorce jointly in July 2017. The divorce was finalised a month later.
In early 2018, Zago began dating fitness model Carolina Delgado, and in April 2019, he proposed to her with the assistance of the Miami Beach Police Department.
Romain told Carolina he was taking her out to lunch and had two police officers pull him over and arrest him while he was driving.
Zago dropped down on one knee in handcuffs and proposed to Delgado; the couple flew to Paris to celebrate their engagement shortly after.
Romain announced on Instagram in February 2020 that he and Carolina had married in a private ceremony attended only by the bride, groom, and Delgado’s daughter, Camila. Zago is a brown belt in karate and speaks five languages proficiently.
Romain Zago’s Real Estate!
Romain and Joanna bought a 2,140-square-foot apartment in Miami for $1.369 million in 2013, and they sold it for $1.55 million in September 2018 after their divorce.
The condo was listed for $1.87 million when Zago and Krupa originally put it on the market in February 2018, but the price dropped to $1.595 million in August before being sold for less the following month.
During their marriage, they tried to sell the condo twice, selling it for $1.9 million in 2014 and $2.5 million in 2016.
