Early life
In Medelln, Colombia, on February 14, 1991, Carolina Giraldo Navarro gave birth to Karol G. She discovered her love of music at the age of 5 while living in Medelln with her singling.

Even though Karol began her music career at a young age, she took it more seriously in 2014 when she came to New York City to negotiate a contract with the well-known label Universal Music Latino.
