A native of Pawnee City, Nebraska; better known as “Larry the Cable Guy,” Daniel Lawrence Whitney was born on February 17th, 1963. On an equine farm, he grew up in that area.
A Christian pastor and his wife Shirley were his father’s parents, and he grew up in a musical family with guitarist entertainer Tom Whitney at the helm.
