Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner Are Expecting Their Second Child
Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner, both actors, are expecting their second child together. Willa, the couple’s first child, was born two years ago. Sophie had fueled rumors earlier in February when she seemed to be pregnant while out with Joe.
A source close to ET corroborated the story that the celebrity couple was intending to extend their family because they both grew up in large households and wanted Willa to have the same experience.
“Sophie and Joe were pleased to find they are expecting a second child,” a source stated, adding that “the pair recently celebrated Sophie’s birthday as well as the pregnancy.” Joe and Sophie have yet to confirm or deny anything. While they have not published any images of Willa, Joe told CBS that the time he spends with his daughter during the epidemic in 2020 is ‘wonderful.’
“I’m always on the move, constantly moving, traveling, and touring.” And to be in one spot for an extended period of time, with my feet on the ground and being with my family, my direct family is time I don’t think I’ll get back,” he had stated.
The couple started dating in 2016, and he proposed in 2017. Joe and Sophie married in a surprise Las Vegas wedding following the 2019 Billboard Music Awards, which was streamed live on Instagram. Later, they staged a grandiose wedding in France.
Sophie also attended her sister-in-law Priyanka Chopra’s wedding celebrations with Nick Jonas in 2018. Priyanka had announced a few weeks ago that she and Nick had had a child via surrogacy.
Pregnant Sophie Turner Breaks Her Silence on Expecting Baby No. 2 With Joe Jonas
Sophie Turner announced to Elle UK that she is expecting her second child with her husband Joe Jonas after wearing a baby bump in public for months. Sophie Turner adores motherhood. After months of silence, the pregnant actress has now revealed that she is expecting her second child with her husband Joe Jonas.
“We’re so delighted to be expanding the family,” she said as the June 2022 cover star of Elle UK. “It’s the best blessing ever.” The couple—who have been dating since 2016 and recently celebrated their third wedding anniversary—are already parents to daughter Willa Jones, who they welcomed in July 2020.
“Raising the next generation is what life is all about for me,” she concluded. “The best part of my life is watching my daughter grow from strength to strength.” Sources told E! News in March that the Game of Thrones veteran, 26, and the 32-year-old singer were expecting another child, but the couple chose not to comment.
Sophie has instead allowed her clothing to do the talking over the last few months. Her bump-showing outfits have featured a crop top and low-rise slacks for a daytime stroll in Los Angeles and a dramatic red pleated peplum-waist evening gown on the Vanity Fair Oscars party red carpet.
The Louis Vuitton ambassador most recently attended the 2022 Met Gala with Joe, wearing a black semi-sheer dress with long sleeves and eye-catching embroidery across the front from the French fashion house’s Resort 2016 line.
Despite the fact that the couple appeared to be Hollywood royalty, Sophia explained that she is very careful not to make too many public appearances. “I’m quite protective of the life we’ve made,” she told Elle UK.
“Every time Joe and I do a red carpet together, we make sure it’s for the proper cause and makes sense for our careers. You should never promote yourself as a celebrity couple. It’s not really cool.”
She is also aware that their daughter did not sign up for a life in the spotlight. “I know what it can do to your mental health to be in this field, and to be photographed every day and have comments,” she went on. “I don’t want her to cope with it unless she says, ‘This is what I want to do.'” We’re quite strict about it.”
Sophia intends to settle down with her family in her native England one day, but she admits it will “take quite a bit of persuasion” to get Joe on board. “I’m gradually drawing my hubby back,” she explained. “I enjoy living in America, but I need to be around my friends and family for my mental health.”
As well as for my daughter. I would hope for her to have the same education and school experience that I did.” “England would ideally be the final destination,” she added.
