Michael Manning Weatherly Jr. (born July 8, 1968) is an American actor, producer, director, and singer best known for portraying Anthony DiNozzo in NCIS (2003–2016) and Logan Cale in Dark Angel (2000–2003).

Michael Weatherly was born in New York City on July 8, 1968, as Michael Manning Weatherly Jr. His mother, Patricia, was a hospital administrator, and his father, Michael, was a millionaire-making Swiss Army Knife importer in the United States.
Will and Michael were raised in Fairfield, Connecticut, and Michael attended Fairfield Country Day School. Weatherly graduated in 1986 from Brooks School in North Andover, Massachusetts. Weatherly made his acting debut in a 1991 episode of “The Cosby Show,” and later that year, he appeared as Preppy Killer on the soap opera “Guiding Light.” From 1992 to 1994, he appeared in over 290 episodes of “Loving,” and from 1995 to 1996, he repeated the role of Cooper Alden on “The City.”
Michael co-starred opposite Jennifer Garner on the 1998 Fox comedy “Significant Others,” which ran for six episodes, and he also appeared in six episodes of the NBC sitcom “Jesse” that same year. In the 1997 film “Meet Wally Sparks,” he portrayed Rodney Dangerfield’s kid.

The couple divorced in August 2003, and Michael married doctor, Dr. Bojana Jankovic, on September 30, 2009. On April 10, 2012, they had a daughter Olivia, and on October 29, 2013, they welcomed a son, Liam.
Alexandra Breckenridge, an actress who has appeared on television programs such as “American Horror Story” and “True Blood,” is Weatherly’s niece.
