Ticketmaster explained the cancellation of their ticket allotment in an email that was obtained by STV News. The statement stated that “due to circumstances beyond our control, our allocation of tickets has been revoked.”

As part of his Mathematics tour, Sheeran is scheduled to perform at Scotland’s national stadium on Friday evening, which will be the second of two concerts he will give in Glasgow.

The company that sells tickets sent an apology to the individuals who were negatively impacted and explained that “you will not be allowed to join the event with any tickets related to your order(s).”

Those who had tickets that were acquired through the limited-time deal were strongly encouraged by the corporation not to show up since they would be denied entry.

STV News was told by the mother of an intensive care nurse that she was “devastated” after learning that her ticket had been canceled. She used the phrase “beyond nasty” to describe the last-minute cancellation, especially considering that individuals had already made preparations to travel to the event.

According to Ticketmaster’s statement to STV News, the decision to cancel the allocation was taken by AEG Presents, the company that was organizing the event.

According to what STV News has been told, the Blue Light Card service is currently conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the issues.

One of the people whose plans were disrupted when tickets were canceled was Blair Duffy. According to his statement to STV News, “tickets were booked through Ticketmaster as a Blue Light Card offer — booked and given out tickets.”

“Then all of a sudden this morning, a nurse at my wife’s place of employment had her tickets revoked, and I checked our app, and it read canceled – there was no communication, no email, nothing at all.”

“I know a lot of nurses, police officers, and other professionals who have switched shifts made hotel reservations and arranged for kid care! Nothing at all from the Ticketmaster website!

STV News has made many attempts to get in touch with AEG Presents in order to obtain a reaction.
