The plot of the movie is around what happens to the House of Helm Hammerhand, who is a character from the appendix of the J.R.R. Tolkien novel. Helm is the great King of Rohan. The voice of that protagonist will be provided by actor Cox, who appeared in Succession.

Helm and his people are forced to make a daring final stand in the ancient stronghold of the Hornburg, which will later become known as Helm’s Deep.
