Kris Jenner Responds to a Question Regarding the Kardashians’ Extramarital Children!
Kris Jenner is not one to judge. The matriarch of the Kardashian family was recently asked about her feelings regarding her daughters having children outside of marriage in the course of an interview for a podcast.
And just so you know, she’s “here for the” no matter what the situation is. The subject was brought up when Kris talked about getting married to Robert Kardashian in 1978 and recalled that she became pregnant with their daughter Kourtney Kardashian while they were on their honeymoon.
This sparked interest in the matter. During an interview for the Martha Stewart Podcast on iHeartRadio on July 6, she stated, “I had Kourtney nine months, two weeks, and two days later.”
“I’m sure that all the Armenian women were keeping track, which is how I found out… I swear I became pregnant while I was on my honeymoon. You should know that back then… well, let’s just say I’m rather traditional.”
The host then responded to Martha Stewart’s question by asking how she feels “when your girls are going out and getting pregnant with men who are not their spouses,” adding, “You’ve matured, haven’t you?”
“I guess so,” Kris, who was 66 at the time, said. “I get more and more insight. I understand what this generation is saying; nevertheless, there is a significant age gap between us because there are so many generations in my family at this point.”
Kris continued by stating that it is imperative for one to acknowledge and accept the current state of affairs in the world.
The mother-in-law stated, “Hindsight is incredibly essential since I’ve been through a lot in my life,” which is why she valued it so much.
“Because I was exposed to a lot of fresh information that I had no prior exposure to, I gained a lot of knowledge along the way. I believe that this is the case. I make peace with what is currently in front of me. Once I get it figured out, I like to assume I can handle anything.”
She went on to say that in particular with her girls, “Whatever they throw at me, I’m prepared to handle it because I’m here for them.
They are aware of that. There is nothing that I could possibly pass judgment on. Absolutely not. I don’t think I could ever do it.”
It would appear that this also covers their relationships and the expansion of their families. In total, Kris has 11 grandchildren under her care and affectionately refers to herself as “Lovey.”
Kourtney welcomed Mason, now 12 years old, Penelope, now 9, and Reign, now 7 years old, during her relationship with Scott Disick before she wed Travis Barker. However, Kourtney and Scott Disick never married.
During this time, Kris’s son Rob Kardashian has a five-year-old daughter named Dream with his ex-girlfriend Blac Chyna; Khloe Kardashian has a daughter named True, who is four years old, with her ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson; and Kylie Jenner and her boyfriend Travis Scott have a newborn son and a daughter who is four years old named Stormi.
As for Kim Kardashian, she became a mother in 2013 and wed Kanye West the following year.
North Kardashian was their first child. After then, the couple welcomed Saint, who is now 6 years old, Chicago, who is 4, and Psalm, who is 3, before divorcing in 2021.
