Official Relationship History of Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson
An unexpected love story. Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson’s relationship startled audiences in 2021, but the couple is still going strong in 2022.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum was initially linked to the Saturday Night Live star in October 2021, eight months after her divorce from Kanye West was finalized. (The former couple, who married in 2014, has two daughters, North and Chicago, and two sons, Saint and Psalm.)
While Kardashian and Davidson have been friends for years — he even referred to Kimye as the “cutest pair” after attending Kid Cudi’s birthday dinner with the wives in 2019 — the KKW Beauty entrepreneur bonded with the Set It Up actor while she hosted SNL.
“He was a real professional throughout the rehearsal and between takes, but things turned flirtatious after that,” a source told Us Weekly. “They swapped numbers, and Pete asked Kim if she wanted to hook out sometime, which she immediately agreed to.”
Kardashian and Davidson were seen having dinner dates after a group Halloween outing. An insider informed Us that she was “falling for” him by mid-November 2021.
When they are together, “everything flows nicely,” the source claimed.
Meanwhile, West made several public appeals to try to woo Kardashian back as their relationship heated up. The rapper also claimed that divorce papers were not served on him. The author of Selfish then filed paperwork to be deemed legally single while going through a divorce.
“Pete isn’t concerned about Kanye wanting to rekindle his relationship with Kim,” a source told Us in December 2021. “He’s relaxed and understanding.” They’re head over heels in love.”
West, for his part, “totally despises Kim dating Pete,” according to the insider. “He’s extremely envious.” Since then, the Grammy winner has been linked to Julia Fox.
Kardashian Says Davidson Helped Her Before Hosting ‘SNL’ in 2021.
Kim Kardashian accepted to host “SNL” without ever having seen an episode of the show, she stated in April 2022 on Amanda Hirsch’s “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast. Instead, she’d obtained a front-row seat to the show after seeing Ye play.
As a result, Kardashian was nervous about her hosting role. “I didn’t want to embarrass myself by getting up there and not being humorous,” she explained.
She did, however, have some assistance.
She explained how Davidson helped her get into a cheerful mood during a brief interaction at the Met Gala in 2021 on the first episode of “The Kardashians,” the family’s new reality program on Hulu.
“I ran into Pete Davidson at the Met and said, ‘I’m terrified.'” “I’m not sure what I signed up for,” she said on the show.
According to Kardashian, Davidson knew precisely what to say. “‘Can you read cue cards?'” he asks. ‘You’re OK,’ she added. You’re fine.
Davidson also gave her his phone number in case she needed help. There was only one issue: her clothes.
“I had gloves on and couldn’t get into my phone, and I was like, ‘Oh, I have gloves, and I can’t…” ‘All right, cool,’ he said. He then walked away. “But I was going to say, ‘Oh, but take mine,'” Kardashian revealed on “Not Skinny But Not Fat.”
Kardashian said on the podcast that Davidson had been trying to gain her number before that incident. “And no one knew for sure, like, ‘Is she going through a divorce?'” “He simply wanted to take his time,” Kardashian explained.
