A New ‘jersey Shore’ Episode Is Being Filmed in Atlantic City.
495 Productions had problems securing a filming location when Deadline initially disclosed Jersey Shore 2.0. According to a New Jersey newspaper, producers were exploring Ocean County’s two barrier islands, including Lavallette.
They were denied permission to film in that town because of the “reputation” that the first series gave Seaside Heights. Several additional locales, including Berkeley, Toms River, and Brick Township, also turned down the production company.
Another local insider confirmed that the show is filming in Atlantic City, New Jersey. A refurbished mansion on Atlantic Avenue’s first block near the inlet has been outfitted with a slew of cameras. During the production of Jersey Shore 2.0, a big backyard fence was also constructed for seclusion.

An official release date for Jersey Shore 2.0 is unknown at the time of publication. According to Airbnb, the Atlantic City house is currently booked until mid-August.
According to the original Jersey Shore filming timeline, fans could witness episodes of Jersey Shore 2.0 in time for the anniversary of the first series in December 2022.

Despite the Og Cast’s Disapproval, “Jersey Shore 2.0” Is Still Going.
Jersey Shore 2.0 will premiere in May 2022, according to Deadline. The logline states, “It’s been 13 years since the famous cast of Jersey Shore fist-pumped its way into our lives and stole our hearts.”
“A new group of housemates moves into their own Shore house, continuing the time-honored custom.” They may have traded their poofs for plumped pouts and UV rays for spray tans, but when it comes to making memories in Jersey, the Shore is still the place to be.”
The Jersey Shore original cast expressed their displeasure with the new series on social media. They claimed at the time that they “put our most vulnerable moments on television for the world to witness” as a cast who “took a gamble with a network in need.”
