Kajol, a well-known actress in Bollywood, recently discussed her upcoming participation in a web series in an interview published online. According to Hindustan Times, Kajol was recently quoted saying, “I’m going OTT.”

The actress claimed that if she had accepted the title part in filmmaker Ram Madhvani’s International Emmy-nominated series, Aarya, which Sushmita Sen now plays, she would have entered the over-the-top (OTT) industry several years earlier.

Kajol stated that she had been approached, as reported by Hindustan Times. The original Dutch show Penoza served as the inspiration for the Indian adaptation Aarya, which was considered for the award for Best Drama Series this year.

It has a total of two seasons and can be viewed on both Disney+ and Hotstar. Kajol has remarked that although she appreciated the script, she could not participate in the production since it did not work out for her.

“I did, and I thought it was exciting, particularly the script. But then, it wasn’t the right move for me. “What she said was. The actress remarked, “There were other reasons for it,” without explaining further.

Kajol On Being Approached For Aarya

Earlier this year, Kajol, with Suriya and filmmaker Reema Kagti, was invited to be distinguished members of the Oscars committee by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

During her discussion, she stated, “That fills me with overwhelming joy. That fills me with joy and anticipation for the future.”

Aarya season 3

The crime drama series “Aarya,” starring Sushmita Sen, will return for a third season, creator Ram Madhvani announced Monday. The International Emmy-nominated series is an official adaptation of the famous Dutch television series “Penoza.”

“Season 3 of Aarya is in the works. @madhvaniram, @sushmitasen47, @disneyplushotstar, and @endemolshineind collaborate once more to amp up the excitement, “the post stated.

The first season of the show centered on Aarya (Sen), a happily married woman whose life is turned upside down when her husband, pharma baron Tej Sareen (Chandrachur Singh), is shot and a threat looms over her family due to Tej’s possible involvement in an illegal drug racket.
