Chrissy Teigen is marking one year of sobriety by reflecting on her previous relationship with alcohol.

“Not a drop of alcohol in 365 days!” she declared on Instagram Monday, alongside a video of herself hanging out with her husband, John Legend, and their children, 6-year-old Luna and 4-year-old Miles.

Teigen admitted that she misses “feeling loopy and carefree,” but that drinking didn’t give her “that funny feeling” in the end.

“I drank to end crazy anxiety that later mostly went away when I — get this — quit drinking!” she explained, adding that she feels “perfect” despite occasionally becoming “frustrated” over days she should “remember way better.”

She cited a few instances, saying, “Like the time an Outback Steakhouse chef taught me (my friends) how to make a blooming onion at my house while I drank cafe patron and passed out.

“I wish I was awake for that.”

In addition, the model-turned-cookbook author wished she could “remember truly any awards show” since whenever she looks at photos of herself taken during “important periods in life,” she thinks her eyes appear to have “gone.”

She explained that some photos are from “real work shoots,” while others are from “family beach days.”

“I honestly don’t know if I’ll never drink again, but I know I never want to be that way again.” “And for the time being, none is best,” she wrote. “I’ll let the bad dreams come up and try to work them out in therapy, sans alcohol.”

Teigen, 36, ended her Instagram post by tagging Outback Steakhouse and requesting “a blooming onion redo.”

Thousands of people, including her Grammy-winning husband, filled the comments section with expressions of congratulations.

“My brave, lovely wife, I am sooooo proud of you!” While Naomi Campbell, a legendary supermodel, responded, “Well done @chrissyteigen… it’s better on this side,” Legend, 43, praised. Being in recovery is lovely. I was sending you my love.

In her quest for a year of sobriety, Teigen has marked various anniversaries, such as her six-month and fifty-day marks.

She began experimenting with sobriety in November 2020 and informed her fans the following month.

At the time, she attributed her decision to sobriety to Holly Whitaker’s book, “Quit Like a Woman: The Radical Choice to Not Drink in a Culture Obsessed with Alcohol.”

Teigen has been open about her alcohol issues recently, revealing in 2017 that she was cutting back on alcohol because she couldn’t stop at one drink. She mentioned at the time that alcoholism runs in her family.
