Hollywood’s biggest movie stars are bringing home substantial paychecks, with Tom Cruise being the highest-paid film star.

According to Variety, Tom Cruise is expected to make more than $100 million from the sale of movie tickets for the most recent installment of the “Top Gun” franchise, “Top Gun: Maverick.”

This is in addition to his salary and eventual cut of revenue from home entertainment rentals and streaming services.

Sources predict that Tom Cruise’s payment for the next two “Mission: Impossible” films will be somewhere in the range of $12 million to $14 million. Cruise, who is 60 years old and stars in the sequel as well as producing it, is set to star in the flicks.

Since it was released in May, “Top Gun: Maverick” has amassed about $1.2 billion at box offices around the world since it first hit theaters. This achievement comes as the Hollywood icon continues to dominate the film industry after more than four decades.

An alumnus of “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” committed to starring in the upcoming action film “Emancipation” in June of 2020 for a salary of $35 million.

Due to delays in production, the movie release date for the upcoming project that Smith is working on with Apple has been moved back to the year 2023.

The statement came not long after Smith’s altercation with comedian Chris Rock, in which he stormed the Oscars stage and smacked Rock for making a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith’s thinning hair. Rock had been laughing at Jada Pinkett Smith’s thinning hair.

After Smith’s resignation from the academy, the organization barred him from attending the Oscars and other events for a period of ten years. Smith was best known for his role in “The Hancock.”

Smith was awarded an Academy Award for his role in “King Richard,” but he has avoided the public eye ever since the controversy surrounding the Oscars.

The film “Men in Black 3,” which he appeared in 2012, is said to have earned him $100 million, making it his most lucrative role to date.

“Yellowstone,” a hit series on the Paramount Network that was produced by Taylor Sheridan, boasts a cast that includes some of the most famous actors in the world and is rumored to give them enormous salaries.
