At San Diego Comic-Con 2022, the first trailer and poster for John Wick 4 were shown.
In both, Keanu Reeves is shown engaging in a number of spectacular fights, which serves as a preview for the film’s fourth installment, which will be released in theaters on March 24, 2023.
The John Wick 4 Trailer Surprisingly Debuts at San Diego Comic-con 2022!
After Keanu Reeves disrupted the Collider’s Directors on Directing panel, in which John Wick 4 director Chad Stahelski was participating, the trailer was presented to the audience.
At the beginning of the clip, Hiroyuki Sanada’s character, Shimazu, asks John Wick if he has “given any thought to where this ends?”
Following this, we are shown snippets of the following characters: Clancy Brown’s currently unnamed character, who may serve as the primary antagonist; Lance Riddick’s Charon; Ian McShane’s Winston; Bill Skarsgard’s Marquis; Shamier Anderson’s Tracker; Donnie Yen’s Caine; and Laurence Fishburne’s Bowery King.
All of these characters are portrayed by their respective actors. The next thing that is spoken to him is that “no one, not even you, can kill everyone.”
It is obvious that Shimazu has not seen the three films that came before this one.
The teaser follows the first-look image that portrays John Wick amidst a flurry of candles, and now we have even more of an idea as to what this installment will look like thanks to the trailer.
Fans were also given the opportunity to view the first poster for John Wick 4, which prominently features Keanu Reeves’s portrayal of the character John Wick, also known as Baba Yaga.
The third installment in the John Wick series titled John Wick: Parabellum, was released in 2019, and in our analysis, we stated that it “stretches the limits of its title character to the breaking point and beyond, all the while providing new details about the character’s history.
As we follow John Wick on his adventure to either preserve his skin or die trying to do so, the action is graphic and over-the-top, and the emotional trajectory of the story remains consistent throughout.”
