Phase 5 of the MCU Includes Captain America 4 and Daredevil: Born Again Confirmed!

It has been revealed that a number of projects will be included in Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including Captain America 4 and the upcoming Daredevil series.

Kevin Feige, the head of Marvel Studios, kicked off tonight’s (July 23) Comic-Con event for the company by saying that Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will serve as the conclusion to Phase 4 and that Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will serve as the beginning of Phase 5.

These are all of the release dates and windows that have been revealed for the next chapter of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

  • Quantumania, starring Ant-Man and the Wasp, will premiere on February 17, 2023.
  • Secret Invasion in the Spring of 2023
  • Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 premieres on May 5, 2023; Echo, Loki season 2

Phase 5 of the MCU Includes Captain America 4 and Daredevil

  • premieres in the summer of 2023; and The Marvels premieres on July 28, 2023.
  • The blade will premiere on November 3, 2023, followed by Ironheart in the fall of 2023 and
  • Agatha: Coven of Chaos in the winter of 2023. Daredevil: Born Again will premiere on
  • May 3, 2024, followed by Captain America: New World Order on July 26, 2024, and
  • Thunderbolts will premiere on July 26, 2024.

Even though we were already aware of the majority of the movies and television shows that have now been confirmed for Phase 5, with the exception of their respective release dates, there were still plenty of treats in store for MCU fans, such as the announcement that the Daredevil series will consist of 18 episodes.

Following his turn as Hawkeye, Vincent D’Onofrio will return to his role as Kingpin, and Charlie Cox will undoubtedly return to his role as Matt Murdock/Daredevil. The next installment in the She-Hulk: Attorney at Law series will include Cox.

On the film front, the two most recent announcements concern the upcoming films Captain America: New World Order and Thunderbolts, which are the last two films to be released in Phase 5. This is the very first official confirmation that we have received for any of the upcoming movies.

Possibly the most intriguing piece of news was the arrival of the release date for Blade, which has been set for November 3rd, 2023 in theaters everywhere.

Although Mahershala Ali appeared in Eternals as part of a vocal cameo, the solo movie will serve as his first formal appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Fans who were fortunate enough to be in Hall H during Comic-Con were the only ones who were able to view a number of the teasers for forthcoming movies and television shows.

Marvel Outlines Phase 6 Featuring Fantastic Four and Two New Avengers Flicks

At San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel is taking a very long look ahead into the future. On November 11th, the corporation revealed that Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which has recently seen its debut trailer, will bring to a close phase four of its cinematic universe.

They have also provided an overview of what to anticipate for phase five. However, Marvel also went one step further by elaborating on phase six of the Marvel Cinematic Universe by announcing three new films in the franchise.

Fantastic Four will be the first film to be released, on November 28, 2024. This will be followed by Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, which will be released on May 2, 2025, and finally, Avengers: Secret Wars, which will be released on November 7, 2025.

This era of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which encompasses phases four through six, is being referred to by Marvel as the “Multiverse narrative,” and it will be concluded with Secret Wars.

At this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, the announcements were delivered during a very active panel.

Aside from the major films being released in theaters, Marvel also debuted a new trailer for the upcoming film She-Hulk and announced that Daredevil: Born Again will be produced for Disney Plus.

The series will star Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio, who previously starred in the Daredevil series on Netflix.
