Daredevil Season 4: How Many Episodes Will There Be for Daredevil: Born Again?

Based on the Marvel Comics character Daredevil, Marvel’s Daredevil is an American television series created by Drew Goddard for the streaming service Netflix.

It acknowledges the continuity of the franchise’s films and was the first Marvel Netflix series building up to The Defenders crossover miniseries. Marvel Television, in partnership with ABC Studios, created Daredevil.

Goddard acted as a consultant on the series. Steven S. DeKnight was the showrunner for the first season, Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez for the second, and Erik Oleson for the third.

Daredevil: Born Again Release Date

Marvel Studios and Disney have only recently hired scriptwriters for the show, which was announced at the San Diego Comic-Con in 2022.

Where to View Daredevil: Reborn?

As with the previous three seasons of Daredevil (which were originally Netflix Originals), Daredevil: Born Again will be available exclusively on Disney+.

How Many Episodes Will There Be for Daredevil: Born Again?

Kevin Feige confirmed at Comic-Con 2022 that Daredevil: Born Again will consist of 18 episodes. However, he did not divulge the duration of each episode.

That is more than each of the legacy seasons of Daredevil (in what Disney calls The Defenders Saga). There were 13 episodes in each of the first three seasons.

Some members of the cast will be returning, including

  • Henson, Elden (Foggy Nelson)
  • Judith Ann Woll (Karen Page)
  • Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio, Kingpin)
  • Charlie Cox, aka Daredevil (Matt Murdock)

Given Charlie Cox’s great surprise debut as Matt Murdock/Daredevil in last year’s blockbuster Spider-Man: No Way Home, thus ensuring his prolonged existence in the MCU, this confirms to fans that there are no plans to replace him.

In addition, Vincent D’Onofrio reprised his role as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin at the conclusion of the limited Hawkeye series on Disney+, donning more Kingpin swagger but retaining his formidable strength.

Through the 2021 Hawkeye series, we were also introduced to Echo, played by Alaqua Cox, whose 2023 spinoff is most likely to involve Kingpin due to their encounter ending with an offscreen gunshot, alluding to Daredevil arcs shared by authors David Mack and Brian Michael Bendis.

Fisk seems incapable of resisting the need to collect grudges against himself. Other Daredevil cast members are anticipated to be confirmed, though nothing has yet been made official.

Wilson Bethel’s demented depiction of Benjamin Poindexter ended on a cliffhanger in season 3, with the character last seen having his damaged spine reconstructed with Cognium steel, alluding to his future character arc involving Dr. Oyama and his adoption of the Bullseye moniker and insignia.

Before the cancellation, the writers were preparing him to become a recurring opponent of Daredevil in season 4.

What Will the Plot of Season 4 of Daredevil Be?

We do not know the plot of Daredevil season 4, but we anticipate that Kingpin will be the antagonist.

Now that it is a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there may be a greater focus on the franchise as a whole, or at the very least, we may anticipate a modest tweak in a tone so that it is not nearly as dark as the Netflix version.

Expect Matt to continue pursuing Wilson, who is engaged in some nefarious scheme, in the future. It will be the appearance of additional villains that makes the difference.

Daredevil Season 4

Bullseye is due for a return after having his spine repaired at the end of season 3.

Mr. Fear and Jester are alternative possibilities, each of which provides Matt with unique moral difficulties. Whoever it is, we can be certain that all roads will eventually lead back to the Kingpin.

Who Will Appear in Season 4 of Daredevil?

Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio have already been in other MCU films, so we know they will be in Daredevil season 4. The question is whether or not additional regulars will return.

Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson as Matt’s closest pals, Karen Page and Franklin ‘Foggy’ Nelson, would be anticipated.

Beyond that, it is a game of conjecture. Kate Bishop may appear, as there is already a relationship with Hawkeye. The echo isn’t unlikely, either. Could we see Defenders such as Luke Cage, The Punisher, and Jessica Jones? Certainly conceivable; we will have to wait and see.
