What Was Gustavo Bauman’s Identity? What Was His Desire?
Everyone in the music industry desired to work for Gustavo, who was a renowned song producer. However, he quit producing and began organizing the Trend-Z awards for unknown reasons.
His entire mentality, set of views, and teaching methods reminded me of “Whiplash’s” cutthroat Terence Fletcher (2019). However, Gus’s character lacked significant depth. He informed the students as soon as he arrived at EWS that there will be no “Battle of the Bands” this year.
Instead, he would evaluate the kids’ solo performances. He would launch the winner into superstardom with his new company, GB records, during the Trend-Z awards at the conclusion of their academic year.
Gus evidently desired to force each pupil outside of their comfort zone, but his techniques were harsh. Through the new pupil Oscar Cabarga Negrete, he turned the drummer Andi Agosti into a heroin addict, to the point that she fell due to an overdose at school.
Later, it was discovered that Gus utilized the incident to convince the board to fire the current EWS principal, Celina Ferrer, and replace her with himself.
Upon attaining power, Gus exposed his actual goals. He desired to transform EWS into a factory that produces the finest musicians in the nation.
Additionally, Gus’s arrival prompted a debate among the students regarding what is more essential for an artist. To create music or to gain notoriety, fans, and followers?
Gus evidently believed that in order to be a successful musician, one must be able to get new listeners and keep them through controversy and other means.
However, Dixon believed that a musician’s main objective should be to create music, and if he had soul in his art, admirers and followers would inevitably follow.
At that time, Dixon and others raised their voices against Gus and began jamming in a warehouse near the school that was eventually dubbed “The Under.”
However, upon learning of the revolt, Gus sent a final warning to Dixon. Although none of the students were pleased with Gus’ management, they were unable to protest against him because he had the utmost authority in EWS and controlled their artistic future.
Release Date of Rebelde Season 2
The second season will debut on July 27, 2022. On the same day, each episode of the series will be made available.
Who Won the Grand Finale?
As Gus had already informed the students that there would be no “Battle of the Bands,” he organized a solo singing competition for their last performance of the academic year.
Gus had previously excluded Dixon from the MEP, but after his horrible accident, Dixon recognized the narcissistic mentality of his pals and desired to demonstrate his superiority over them.
He requested that Gus allow him to perform in the final, and if he lost, he would transfer to another music school in the country.
Gus saw an opening to rein in the renegade Dixon and so consented immediately. Gus had the ability to announce the winner of the competition, but he never would have chosen Dixon.
Dixon delivered one of the best rap musicals of his life during the final performance, but Gus crowned Esteban as the winner because he knew Esteban was a hungry musician who would follow his directions to achieve success and stardom.
Gus understood how to use a musician’s need for fame, and Esteban was an easy mark.
Is There a Trailer for Season 2 of Rebelde?
On July 13, a new trailer for the series was published, promising an abundance of fresh characters, secrets, and songs. The teaser reveals that the school is still coping with the aftermath of The Lodge members’ exposure.
The students of EWS must now contend with a much harsher school principal who is determined to break up the bands in order to create disciplined and popular solo artists.
In addition, parents and influential personalities in Mexico have begun to scrutinize the school’s operations and the students’ free time considerably more closely.
