Is There a Trailer for Season 2 of Industry?

On July 21, 2022, HBO published the official trailer for Season 2 of Industry. Our financial gurus are under greater strain than ever before.

The only way our grads can protect themselves against Pierpoint’s plans to merge their New York and London offices are by demonstrating their value to the firm through their largest accounts.

Therefore, it is their responsibility to pick up the phone and monetize the existing relationships. In spite of the stress, Industry would not be Industry without partying, sex, office drama, politics, and much more. Therefore, prepare for an entirely new season of excitement.

What Will Industry Season 2 Be About?

If the first season made the financial industry appear like a pressure cooker, the second season appears to be an improvement.

According to a BBC press release, “The market is crashing, and Pierpoint’s back to work or else ultimatum has the trading floor more agitated and suspicious than ever before. New U.S. management will add fuel to the fire – an injection of transatlantic energy that ignites the passion of each person.”

In addition, we also know that the upcoming season will incorporate a “post-Covid” setting into the narrative “Now Harper, Yasmin, and Robert must generate new business and forge new friendships outside the office as Pierpoint and its junior bankers seek every advantage in the post-Covid world.

It will be a riveting continuation of season one, which concluded on RIF (reduction in force) day, when, after weeks of casual hook-ups, drug binges, and all-nighters in between schmoozing clients and attempting to make the company money, it was the grads’ last chance to prove they deserved to keep their desk.

The graduates must demonstrate to the hiring committee why they deserve a seat at the Pierpoint table through presentations.

Gus (David Jonsson) appears to be fed up with the business world, as he is furious that the corporation has not accepted responsibility for Hari’s (Nabhaa Rizwan) death.

As he explains that he has not secured any business, Robert’s nose begins to bleed (someone needs to tell this guy to lay off the drugs).

industry season 2 Release Date

The relationship between Yasmin (Marisa Abela) and Harper (Myha’la Herrold) begins to slide downward.

Harper asks Yasmin why she was conversing with her employer, Daria, and Yasmin reassures her that her achievement should not detract from Harper’s, stating that Harper’s relationship is the finest thing that has ever happened to her at Pierpoint.

Clearly, Harper does not share the same sentiments. When executive Bill brings Harper to a meeting with her disgraced employer Eric (who had her imprisoned in a meeting room), he wants her to withdraw her claim and strongly indicates that doing so will benefit her.

When offered the position by the executive Sara, Harper expresses her desire to alter the company culture.

When Yasmin walks over to Harper’s desk to rejoice in the next scene, it becomes evident that Harper has betrayed Daria to give Eric his job back.

Harper informs Yasmin that Daria has left and Eric is returning, which infuriates Yasmin, who labels Harper ridiculous and selfish. Harper responds by describing her as “weak and a f*cking hypocrite.”

In the dying moments, Harper opens the notebook Yasmin gave her as a gift, which contains the phrase “Here’s to our future, Love, Yasmin.”
