Amber Heard‘s attorneys believe that Johnny Depp‘s erectile issues may have led to the alleged bottle rape of his ex-wife.

Newly released court documents obtained by Fox News Digital reveal that Heard’s legal team introduced the impotence complaint in a March 28 motion describing embarrassing information they intended to present at the Virginia defamation trial that began the following month and was streamed life online.

“Although Mr. Depp would prefer not to divulge his erectile dysfunction diagnosis, it is certainly pertinent to sexual assault, including Mr. Depp’s wrath and use of a bottle to rape Amber Heard,” Heard’s main attorney Elaine Bredehoft wrote.

Heard, 36, claimed in court that Depp, 59, pierced her with a Maker’s Mark bottle during a drug-fueled rage in 2015 in Australia, where he was filming the fifth installment of “Pirates of the Caribbean.”

During what she characterized as a “three-day hostage situation,” the “Aquaman” actress screamed uncontrollably as she told jurors that Depp had dragged her across a floor of broken glass, bent her over a bar, and repeatedly inserted the bottle into her.

“I believed that he was punching me. I felt this force. This pressure was felt on my pubic bone “she stated in Virginia’s Fairfax County Circuit Court. “I did not know whether or not the bottle he placed inside of me was shattered.”

“Mr. Depp’s erectile dysfunction makes it more likely that Mr. Depp would be upset or agitated in contact with Amber Heard,” Bredehoft said in the motion, adding that Depp takes Cialis for his impotence.

The attorney for Depp described the attempt to admit documents of the illness at trial as “just harassment.”

The released court documents also featured a deposition given by Heard stating that Depp sexually assaulted her after he became frustrated in the bedroom because he was unable to rise to the occasion.

She said, “He would not be able to develop an erection and grow upset with me.” “I refer to what Johnny could not fully execute as “mad sex.” He would repeatedly toss me onto the bed, after which he would push himself against me in an angry manner.”

Depp has adamantly denied ever abusing a woman physically or sexually. In the end, Judge Penney Azcarate barred evidence of Johnny Depp’s medical condition, although jurors did see a medical record listing Cialis as one of the actor’s prescriptions.

13 July, roughly six weeks after a jury awarded Depp $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages, Judge Azcarate ordered a trove of confidential court documents to be opened.

The number of punitive damages was decreased by Azcarate to $350,000, the maximum allowable by Virginia law.

The tribunal found that Heard had defamed Depp by referring to herself as a victim of domestic abuse in an op-ed for the Washington Post.

The seven-member jury awarded Heard $2 million on a single claim in her countersuit, but the result was an overwhelming triumph for Depp overall.

Depp Sought to Keep Testimony Out of Court

The disclosed documents reveal that Depp’s attorneys fought hard, albeit not always successfully, to keep several of Heard’s specialists from testifying.

Despite the fact that Elaine Barkin ultimately testified, Depp’s legal team sought the court to bar her testimony because she claimed Depp hurled a bottle at her during a quarrel while they were dating in the 1990s.

They said that Depp and his actor pal Paul Bettany were only displaying a dark sense of humor when they discussed drowning Amber Heard to ascertain if she is a witch, with Depp suggesting they burn and mutilate her corpse as well.

Depp’s team also attempted unsuccessfully to exclude the testimony of Dr. David Spiegel, a defense psychiatrist; Dr. Dawn M. Hughes, another psychologist who met with Heard and determined she suffered from PTSD; and Dr. Amy Banks, a relationship consultant who met with the couple and believed Heard suffered domestic violence at the hands of Depp.

The court filings also indicate that Depp’s legal team sought to remove forensic expert Julian Ackert, who eventually testified that audio and visual files are given by Depp “raised issues of manipulation, alteration, and deletion.”
