Early Profession
Noel’s first job in the music industry was as a roadie for the band Inspiral Carpets.
Gallagher discovered that his brother Liam had formed a rock band named the Rain upon his return from a U.S. tour with the Inspiral Carpets. Noel accepted Liam’s invitation to join the band on the condition that he be the primary songwriter.
Oasis
Oasis performed with the Verve and released the single “Supersonic” after signing a record deal with Sony. In 1994, they published their first album, “Definitely Maybe.” This record became the most popular in British history.
They then released their second album titled (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? This album charted well in the United States. After releasing several hit albums and singles, Oasis disbanded in 2009, and Noel went on to form the High Flying Birds.
