Noel Gallagher is a singer and record producer from England. Gallagher was the lead guitarist, co-lead vocalist, and songwriter for the rock band Oasis.
After quitting Oasis in 2009, he established Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and became the primary vocalist, guitarist, and lyricist. He began playing the guitar at the age of 12.
Early Years
Noel Thomas David Gallagher was born in Manchester, England on May 29, 1967. Gallagher was frequently abused by his drunken father while growing up in a Longsight Irish Catholic household. In 1982, his mother left her husband and took Noel and his two brothers with her.
Throughout his teenage years, Noel frequently interacted with the police. He was expelled from school at age 15 for throwing flour at a teacher. During this time, he became an avid Manchester City football team fan.

Early Profession
Noel’s first job in the music industry was as a roadie for the band Inspiral Carpets.
Gallagher discovered that his brother Liam had formed a rock band named the Rain upon his return from a U.S. tour with the Inspiral Carpets. Noel accepted Liam’s invitation to join the band on the condition that he be the primary songwriter.
Oasis
Oasis performed with the Verve and released the single “Supersonic” after signing a record deal with Sony. In 1994, they published their first album, “Definitely Maybe.” This record became the most popular in British history.
They then released their second album titled (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? This album charted well in the United States. After releasing several hit albums and singles, Oasis disbanded in 2009, and Noel went on to form the High Flying Birds.

In 2000, Noel welcomed his first kid into the world after marrying Meg Mathews. After charges of adultery by Noel, he and Matthews eventually separated.

Rivalries
